To celebrate the 30th anniversary of initiating teaching in full-time programs in English at PUMS, the Center for Medical Education in English planned a festive celebration for October 26-28, 2023, consisting of several major events: a teaching conference, a gala, workshops, guided tours, a festive student awards evening, and a series of smaller social events.

During a ceremony on November 16, 2023, prof. Lucjusz Zaprutko, former head of PUMS Department of Organic Chemistry and former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Lviv National Medical University in Lviv, Ukraine.
On November 16, 2023, the President of PUMS, the University Senate, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine proudly conferred the Honoris Causa Doctorate upon the incredible Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, Medical Director of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. The award was given in recognition of her outstanding contributions to building civil society and her unparalleled efforts in establishing the highest standards in healthcare.
