The event titled "Mayo Clinic International Hospital Internal Medicine Conference 2025" will take place in Rome, Italy on September 9-12, 2025. It will be the first ever Mayo Clinic conference organized outside of the United States.

Researchers from Stanford University have compiled a 2024 update to their ranking of top 2% most cited scientists in the world using an algorithm based on h-index, work experience, field of study and other factors. We are proud to share that several of our colleagues from PUMS have ranked high enough to be included in this edition.
Hydroxyapatite is an active ingredient used in oral care products such as toothpastes and mouthwashes for caries prevention. The unique aspect of this ingredient is its high similarity to natural enamel crystallites (biomimetic principle). Recently, a new publication on the current state of research regarding the efficacy of hydroxyapatite in caries prevention was published in the internationally renowned Journal of Dentistry (Elsevier). The publication was co-authored by Prof. Elzbieta Paszynska from PUMS Department of Integrated Dentistry and researchers from Medical University of Bialystok, University of Texas Health, University of Toronto, and Dr. Kurt Wolff GmbH & Co. KG.
We are honored to host Prof. Dr. Bennett T. Amaechi from the University of Texas Health San Antonio School of Dentistry for a guest lecture on "Advancing Caries Management With New Technologies". The event will take place on November 28, 2024, at 4pm in Room A of PUMS Main Library building.
We are honored to host dr. Soledad Romero Cela, MD, an international psychiatry expert in the field of childhood trauma, as a guest speaker at PUMS. Dr. Romero Cela has been invited within the framework of the Academic Poznan - a long-running project by the Poznan City Hall.
