The purpose of this academic club is to provide Emergency Medicine information based off up-to-date paradigm resources and from doctor specialists about various topics both basic and advanced using social media and online classroom settings (Teams). This year we want to expand the club by increasing opportunities for students to get more hands-on experience in the field of EM via workshops, competitions, simulations, etc. We plan on contacting doctors with experience in the EM field to establish a good rapport and create events and opportunities for students to get to know EM from a higher professional standard. We also want to demonstrate key characteristics for the field of EM such as cooperation, decisiveness, professionalism, knowledgeability, and empathy in turmoiled situations.
