Lectures

  • There are a few lectures.

Labs (i.e. Tutorials)

  • In the labs, one of the instructors will give you handouts of cases. They will work with you to solve each case using statistics. You will be working individually on computers, using a statistical software. The exercises in the labs are not graded. The final exam consists of a few questions, similar to select cases.

Internal tests

  • There is one internal test, which is the exam. It is composed of 3 cases, each of which may have a few questions, similar to select cases presented during the labs. It’s out of 9 marks and you need 6 to pass. To obtain a credit for the course you need to pass this exam.

NBME

  • There is no NBME for this course.

This is not a difficult course and you should balance study time for this course accordingly. An efficient method would be to re-do the cases learned during the week over the weekend. Practising the cases will be sufficient to pass the exam.
