Leadership. Advocacy. Community.

Three words that describe AMSA. The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is driven by dedicated students to continue the legacy of the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training. As the leading chapter in Poland and the third largest in Europe, we, as a student-governed association, are committed to representing the students at Poznan University of Medical Sciences on an international scale.

Throughout the demanding period of medical school, AMSA is devoted to helping students become well rounded activists in their school community, as well as keeping them connected to the medical community. Through our guided workshops, volunteering events and mentorship programs, we aim to help students utilize their time efficiently here at PUMS, as well as the transition back home to the US and Canada.

We are united not only as students and AMSA members, but also as future physicians with a common interest in medicine, healthcare, and the opportunity to make a difference. At AMSA, activism is a way of life.

“It takes more than Medical School to make a Physician.”
